Overton- Elm Creek wasted little time in  taking care of Overton on Friday night, scoring on its first four possessions on route to a 54-22 win. Senior LeShaun Thornabar had a big first half for the Buffaloes scoring on runs of 21 and 49 yards. He also caught a 26 yard touchdown pass from Dillon Gillming as the Buffaloes led it 32 to nothing at the end of the first quarter. Elm Creek led 40-0 at half as the game was never in doubt. Overton did get its offense going in the second half, as Josh Thompson scored a couple of touchdowns and had 188 yards rushing on 20 carries. Elm Creek is now 6-0 on the season Overton is 1-5.
