NORFOLK – The Northeast Community College volleyball team was swept by Iowa Western Community College here Thursday night, losing 25-13, 25-23 and 25-19.
Hawks Coach Amanda Schultze saw some positives in her team’s loss to the Reivers. “We played pretty well tonight against a very strong Iowa Western team,” she said. “We passed very well but just couldn’t put the ball away when we needed to. Overall, I think we got better as a team and learned that we can play with high caliber teams.”

Peyton Roach recorded one ace serve and 14 digs for the night. Mackenzie Wecker finished with 12 digs, and Courtney Labenz had 34 assists.
