Lexington beat Holdrege 3-0-KRVN Photo Paul Pack

Lexington-The Lexington boys soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 3-0 win over Holdrege on Tuesday. Lexington scored two goals in the first half to lead 2-0 at the break. Scoring for Lexington were Lester Perez, Damian Ramirez and Diego Escobar. Gustavo Castro picked up the shutout in goal for Lexington. The Minutemen are scheduled to play North Platte on Thursday. Holdrege fell to 2-3 on the season.

In the girls game Holdrege beat Lexington 2-0. The Dusters outshot Lexington 19-7 on the day and jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the half and were able to post the shutout. Both teams are now 2-2 on the season.
