GOTHENBURG – The Swedes girls basketball team improved to 7-5 with a 51-36 win over Cozad and the Haymakers boys continue their great season with a hard-fought 47-42 win over Gothenburg to improve to 11-1.

Cozad got within four points in the second quarter and third quarters, but were unable to get any closer.
Kennedy Berreckman led the way for the Haymakers with 15 points, Sadie Rush was also in double-figures with 11. With the loss Cozad falls to 2-11.
