Lopers fell on Thursday 4-2

The UNK baseball team came up short on Thursday night losing to Pittsburgh State 4-2 in the first round of the MIAA tournament. The Gorillas scored single runs in the 6th, 7th and 8th inning to pull out the win. Brett Young and Dallas Schramm each drove in a run for UNK. Starter Josh Cooper went seven innings for the Lopers giving up just two earned runs. UNK will play top seeded UCO in an elimination game on Friday first pitch is set for 12:30.  UCO was upset by Northeastern State on Thursday 4-2.
