SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced their weekly volleyball awards for September 12-18, 2016. Midland University’s Priscilla O’Dowd has been named the Attacker of the Week for the second time this season.

O’Dowd garners the weekly honor for the fourth time in her career.

The Omaha, Nebraska native continued her dominance at the net last week as No. 1 Midland improved to 14-0. The sophomore floored 25 kills over two matches while adding 16 block assists.

O’Dowd leads the GPAC in hitting percentage (.441) and ranks fifth in kills (199). Her attacking percentage also ranks second in the NAIA this season.

The sophomore middle blocker and her Lady Warrior teammates return to action on Saturday, September 24 at Northwestern College. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Orange City, Iowa.
