Scottsbluff coach, Darren Emerick: “We benefited from a tough field of team with lots of experience and strong programs. As a very young team the challenge really helped us move towards our team goals. We struggled at the #1 positions but that’s were you face the highest playing levels and our doubles team of Lincoln Frank and Porter Robbins were in every match with most ending 8-5 or 8-6.

The success of our #2 and #3 positions in the lineup is very encouraging. I was real improvement in tactics and composure that will pay off in the coming weeks. This team is full of competitive and focused players that have tremendous potential during their high school tennis careers.”
Gering coach, Ron Swank: “Despite having two players ill Gering Bulldog Tennis had a good day.  #1 Doubles team of Hunter Walker & Dyson Dollarhide metaled for 3rd place with a 3-2 record.  # 2 Doubles of Trent Davis and David Karpf we competitive with a 1-4 record.   #1 Singles Mark Karpf also played well finishing 1-4.”
