Northeast baseball drops two against Iowa Central

NORFOLK, NE – The Northeast Community College baseball team wrapped up their conference opener with two losses to Iowa Central Community College here Saturday. Final scores in the second doubleheader of the weekend were 12-4 and 9-1.

In the first game, Domanique Sanders was 2-for-4. Christian Dumont went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Jackson Tingwald took the loss.

Game two saw Kaden Hendrix finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI. Alex Fetters was the losing pitcher.

The Hawks (7-17-1) are set to host Mount Mary College JV on Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk for a 4 p.m. game.
