In softball action on Tuesday night it was Grace Tolstedt of Alliance tossing a four inning no hitter to help Alliance beat Scottsbluff by the final of 11-1.

Tolstedt struck out seven while issuing three walks in the no hit performance.

Scottsbluff starting pitcher Jordyn Grasmick allowed all 11 runs, but only six of those were earned as the defense committed 4 errors. Grasmick allowed 12 hits while striking out four.

Gering also dropped a road game last night, losing to Chadron 8-5.

Kylee Garrett homered in the win for Chadron while Dana Dunbar pitched a complete game in the circle with five strikeouts and no walks allowed.

Gering got multi-hit games from Kaylee Bohnsack, Paige Peterson, and Bobbie Clafin.

The loss was charged to Tori Hoagland, who got a rare start in place of ace Jacey Marietta.
