The Scottsbluff Bearcats will play in the final high school football game of the season tonight at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

The Class B state championship game pits Scottsbluff vs. Omaha Skutt Catholic as the top two seeds have survived to play for the trophy tonight.

Scottsbluff is 12-0 on the season including playoff wins over Ralston, Omaha Roncalli, and York.

Scottsbluff last played in the title game in 2000, a loss to Crete. They also dropped the title game to Elkhorn in 1999.

Skutt is also undefeated and they’ve won playoff games against Bennington, Blair, and Waverly.

After winning state championships in 2013 and 2014, the Skyhawks have lost the last two Class B championship game.
