Wayne State places 30 student athletes on 2018 NSIC Winter All-Academic Team

WAYNE – Wayne State College had 30 student-athletes named to the 2018 Northern Sun Conference Winter All-Academic Team announced Thursday, March 15 by the league office in Burnsville, Minnesota.

To be eligible for the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team and have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or better. The student-athlete must also have reached sophomore academic and athletic standing at the institution represented with one full year completed at that particular institution. The WSC men’s indoor track and field team had the most selections for the Wildcats with 12 followed by men’s basketball with seven, women’s indoor track and field had six selections and women’s basketball had five.
