Siske honored as NBCA Coach of the Year
Scottsbluff High School boys basketball coach Tony Siske has been named the 2012 Coach of the Year by the Nebraska Basketball Coaches Association.
Siske led the Bearcats to a 25-3 record and the Class B state championship, the school's first basketball state title in 57-years.
THE NBCA's purpose is to foster the development of basketball coaches and have coaches promote the game of basketball in the state of Nebraska.
Siske was chosen by a vote of members of the Nebraska Basketball Coaches Association.
Dylan Travis of Omaha Gross was voted Player of the Year, while John Harris of Lincoln High won a continuing education scholarship.
