Go Big Red for Raise the Roof
This year's Box Butte County Fair in Hemingford will feature the Go Rig Red for Raise the Roof Husker football memorabilia auction.
Over 80 pieces of Husker football collectibles from 1943 thru 2011 have been donated by Cynthia and Kevin Horn of Alliance, with auction proceeds for a new livestock barn at the Box Butte County Fair.
Most of the items will be sold via a silent auction in the Open Class Building this Thursday from 9 -9,, Friday from 9-9, and Saturday from 9-6, with the silent auction ending at 6 o'clock Saturday night.
Other items will be sold at Friday's cookie jar auction at 4 p.m., and Saturday's livestock sale at 12:30 p.m.
