16 dogs and their owners competed in 4 different categories at Thursday night’s West Point Dog Daze of Summer Dog Show on Main Street. Tina from the Chamber tells KTIC News who claimed prizes for best dressed and best groomed.

Tina adds there were five winners in the Best Matched to Owner Category.

Tina says the winners for Best Trick were Melissa Steffen and Cosmo and Miss Silva and Furby.

Tina says people were there to watch the show and eat as well.

It’s all leading up to Saturday’s West Point Sidewalk Sales.

Silva talked with KTIC’s Jeff Axtell, who asked her what category she and Furby were entered into.

Silva and Furby took home 2nd place for Best Trick.

Shelby Perchal of West Point and her Dog Duke also took part in the show. Perchal says she chose a fishing theme for this year’s show.

Shelby and Duke tied for 2nd place in the Best Matched Category.

A kids bark off was held as well.
