(AUDIO) West Point-Beemer Coronavirus update given at School Board Meeting; Parent Teacher Conferences to be held next week

The West Point-Beemer School Board had a Coronavirus discussion at Monday night’s regular monthly meeting. Superintendent Bill McAllister has the latest.

McAllister says the increase this week was 21, which is a positive rate of 17.8 percent. 106 have recovered, and the recovery rate is 50.5 percent.

McAllister adds 10 people are currently quarantined.

Parent Teacher Conferences are being held next Tuesday. Middle School Principal Brendan Calahan noted a change for this year’s conferences at the meeting.

McAllister says masks are required.
