Dear Relay For Life Sponsor,
The Relay For Life of the Cuming County Area cannot thank you enough for your incredible past and present support for cancer survivors and the fight against cancer!
With the prevention of the spread and current state of emergency of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 in mind, the Relay For Life of the Cuming County Area committee continues to monitor what is happening around us.
Even though the Relay For Life of the Cuming County Area has been postponed, we are moving forward with regular conference calls and continue our discussions to move foreward. Our new Relay date is Sunday, July 12 from Noon to 5 p.m. at the Nielsen Community Center. Please know we will not take this action lightly, but we feel the well-being and safety of the cancer survivors, caregivers, teams, sponsors and guests is of the utmost importance.
We recognize the significance of the Relay For Life, in keeping the community engaged in the mission to end the pain and suffering of cancer. We know how important it is to you to show support for our cancer survivors. So, this does not mean we will discontinue the fight against cancer through our mission and fundraising to support cancer patients and their loved ones because cancer never stops and we won’t either!
If you are on Facebook, please visit “Relay For Life of The Cuming County Area” for updates. We have also included an infographic of how we are working together. Through these challenging times, we want you to know that we support you. We continue to actively plan for the 2020 Relay For Life to make it a wonderful celebration for our area.
Stay well and thank you so much for your continued support.
