Goshen County Woman Among Latest Wyoming COVID-Related Deaths

Twenty-three coronavirus-related deaths among Wyoming residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have been confirmed, including one Goshen County resident according to a Wyoming Department of Health release Thursday.

Officials said the older adult woman died earlier this month following hospitalization in another state, and was not known to have had health conditions recognized as putting patients at higher risk.

Among Wyoming residents, there have now been 351 coronavirus-related deaths, 35,113 lab-confirmed cases and 5,480 probable cases reported since the pandemic began.

Deaths among Wyoming residents are added to the state’s total based on official death certificate information. If death certificates do not describe COVID-19 as either causing or contributing to a person’s death, those deaths are not included in Wyoming’s count.
