Woman From York Charged With Stealing $9,000 In Lottery Tickets

Woman From York Charged With Stealing $9,000 In Lottery Tickets

YORK- Victoria, S., Hall, 26, of York has been charged with theft by unlawful taking, with a value of more than $5,000. The charge is a Class 2A felony which carries a possible maximum sentencing of 20 years in prison if convicted. According to court documents, on December 11th, 2019 the York Police Department was contacted by a district manager of the Pump and Pantry near Interstate 80. Hall was an employee at the convenience store.  The manager said that Hall had stole 30 packs of lottery tickets totalling $9,000. The manager provided video evidence that showed Hall taking tickets out of the safe, activating them, and placing the tickets in her backpack.

On December 16th, 2019, Hall was brought in for an interview, when the Police Department notified her she was under arrest. Hall signed the Miranda Waiver, and agreed to speak without the presence of a lawyer, she then admitted to stealing the tickets. Her arraignment is set for February 10th, 2020.
