FREMONT, Neb. – Authorities are trying to identify a womans body which was discovered Thursday near the Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area. The Fremont Police Department said its detectives were called to assist Dodge County sheriffs deputies after the body was found. Authorities are also trying to determine the manner of death. The Douglas County Crime Lab was called in to help with the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted Friday in Douglas County.
