YORK- On Thursday evening, December 17th, 2020, the York City Council met. The meeting mainly consisted of reappointing council members to their various committees and assigned positions in the council. Tony North was appointed as a councilmember tonight and will be sworn in next meeting.
Jeff Piper will be the new City Council president, taking over after Mogul stepped down, and Shiela Hubbard will be vice president. The rest of the meeting had Stephen Postier’s property annexed, after waiting for about a month or so. A loan was also approved for York Cold Storage, to build onto their business and add freezers to assist in pet food production.
