Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Head Volleyball Coach Brad Schlegel has accepted a position at Seward, but will not be coaching varsity Volleyball for the Bluejays. Schlegel said in an interview with KTIC Sports that he wants to spend more time with his family.

Schlegel says it’s also an opportunity to be closer to his family and hometown of Shickley.

He says he will miss the players and the competitive aspect of Volleyball the most.

Schlegel coached the Raiders for 3 seasons, going 36-58 during his time, including a 14-17 mark in 2018 and a 17-15 mark that culminated in a Sub-State Final berth this past season after going just 5-26 in his first year.

Schlegel says the program is in good shape moving forward.

Schlegel says his replacement is Natalie Wacker with Kelsey Piper the top assistant.
