CCC Volleyball ends year at Region IX Tournament

CCC Volleyball ends year at Region IX Tournament

The Central Community College volleyball team saw its season conclude at the Region IX tournament hosted by Southeast Community College. A recap of each match is below. The Raiders finished the season with a mark of 19-19.

Match 1 vs. Southeast Community College

The Raiders swept the Lady Storm to open the Region IX tournament. The final scores were 25-21, 25-22 abd 30-28.

Shania Borchers led the way in kills with nine, while Rylee Kwapnioski tallied 38 assists. Kamri Adler made 20 digs, while Kwapnioski added 13.

Match 2 vs. North Platte Community College

The Lady Knights defeated the Raiders in four sets. CCC won the first game, 25-22, followed by NPCC making things even with a 25-23 win in the second game. The Lady Knights took the match with finals of 25-16 and 25-18 in the third and fourth set.

Jordan Wegner and Abbe Mancuso made eight kills apiece, while Kwapnioski totaled 27 assists. Adler finished with 23 digs, while Devyn Erickson chipped in 13.

Match 3 vs. Southeast Community College

The Lady Storm ended CCC’s season with a 3-0 sweep. The final scores were 25-19, 26-24 and 25-15.

Mancuso finished with nine kills, while Kwapnioski dished out 26 assists. Bailey Hehr registered 17 digs, while Mallory Gotschall added 15.
