T-H Juniors Suffer First Loss at Class C State

DEWITT – The Tekamah-Herman Junior American Legion baseball team suffered its first loss at the Class C State Tournament, an 11-1 setback to Palmer-Wolbach-Greeley Monday night, July 22 in rural DeWitt.

The game was scoreless going into the fifth, when PWG scored 4 runs, and added six more in the sixth to go up 11-0. Tekamah-Herman scored their lone run in the bottom of the sixth before the game ended due to the 8-run mercy rule.

Cole Bottger recorded the only hit for Tekamah-Herman.

Tekamah-Herman will face Pierce in an elimination game Tuesday evening at 5:00. The game will be broadcast on 107.9 The Bull.
