Wayne State welcomes the University of Mary and Minot State to Rice Auditorium this weekend for NSIC cross-division home games for the Wildcats. WSC is 8-15 overall and 5-9 in the NSIC South Division (6th place) heading into Friday’s 7:30 p.m. matchup vs. UMary (10-10, 5-9 NSIC North/Tie 5th). Minot State begins the weekend at 9-11 and 3-11 in the league and will play in Wayne Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Last season, WSC beat UMary twice with a 67-48 regular season win in Bismarck followed by an 84-62 win in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament played in Wayne. WSC outscored Minot State 85-79 last season in Minot in the lone meeting of the year.

Minot State begins the weekend at 4-14 and 1-13 in the NSIC North and will visit WSC Saturday at 3:30p.m.
Last season WSC lost at UMary 65-60 in the regular season then defeated the Marauders 54-52 in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament in Bismarck. Minot State topped the Wildcats last year 69-64 in Minot for their first-ever win over the Wildcats.
